Just a five-minute walk from Piazza della Libertà and Ostuni’s historic centre, Casa Paradiso is a distinctive multi-level home where centuries of local architecture meet relaxed contemporary living.

Dating back to the 16th century, the property retains many of the features that give Ostuni’s historic homes their character. Original white stonework, a traditional star-vaulted ceiling and an unusual arrangement across several levels create a home that feels intrinsically connected to the White City.

The main living level reflects the traditional layout of the property. A double bed is incorporated into the living space, alongside comfortable seating and a dining area. From here, an alcove leads to the compact kitchen, while the bathroom is also accessed directly from this level. Guests using this double bed should therefore be comfortable with an open-plan sleeping arrangement rather than the privacy of a separate bedroom.

Following the original staircase upwards, the next level provides a private bedroom with a small double bed and desk. Continue to the upper floor and there is a second private bedroom with a single bed, positioned just before the rooftop terrace.

At the top of the house, the private terrace rewards the climb. Furnished with a table, chairs and sun loungers, it’s a space for slow mornings, sunny afternoons and evenings above Ostuni, with views across the city’s rooftops, surrounding olive groves and towards the Adriatic coastline.

The location also provides a convenient base for exploring beyond Ostuni, with the Adriatic coast and the towns and countryside of the Itria Valley within reach.
